Carteret Health Care is proud to announce that, effective October 23, 2025, Moore Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is now a division of Carteret Health Care Orthopedics.
This transition honors the longstanding reputation and legacy of Dr. Jeffrey Moore, whose dedication to his patients and to the community has set the standard for excellence in orthopedic care in Carteret County. By aligning with Carteret Health Care, patients will continue to receive the same compassionate, expert care they have come to trust—now with the added benefits of integrated services and expanded resources through Carteret’s growing network.
“Dr. Moore has built a reputation for exceptional orthopedic care and genuine compassion for his patients,” said Kyle Marek, Carteret Health Care CEO. “By bringing Moore Orthopedics into the Carteret Health Care family, we are not only continuing his legacy but also reassuring patients that their care remains in trusted hands—close to home.”
The team will continue providing a full spectrum of orthopedic services, including diagnosis, treatment, surgical and non-surgical care, rehabilitation and sports medicine, with the same trusted providers and staff. Patients will benefit from a seamless transition, improved care coordination, and the strength of a health system deeply committed to the community.
Patients will continue to be served at these two convenient locations:
- 4218-M Arendell Street, Morehead City, NC 28557
- 1165-M Cedar Point Blvd., Cedar Point, NC 28584
“Carteret Health Care’s mission is to promote wellness and provide exceptional care for our community,” said Dr. Jeff Moore. “This transition is another step forward in ensuring that Carteret County residents have access to the highest-quality orthopedic care without having to travel far from home.”
