Please take a moment to listen to a special Thank You to our current sponsors from one of our Radiation Oncologists, Dr. Kyle Rusthoven. Thank you!

Carteret Health Care plans to build a new Radiation Oncology Cancer Center and renovate the current Medical Oncology Cancer. This dedicated outpatient facility will be made possible by a significant investment by the Hospital and $10 million in philanthropy raised through the Accelerated Cancer Care Campaign.

Carteret Health Care Cancer Center is the only location in Carteret County where all cancer services are being compassionately, conveniently, and comfortably provided in one place. The new building will enable our radiation oncology program to augment leading cancer treatment technologies with the initial acquisition of a second linear accelerator and the eventual replacement of the current accelerator. The medical oncology unit, currently housed in the main hospital, will expand chemotherapy infusion services within its current space.

The addition of a second linear accelerator will address the dramatic growth in demand for radiation treatment. Carteret Health Care's commitment to quality cancer treatment is backed by the support of the Mayo Clinic Care Network and the UNC Lineberger Cancer Network, along with accreditation from the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer and certification as a Quality Oncology Practice Initiate Program.
