Woodworkering Competition Exhibition – March 22 – 30, 2018 – The exhibition for the Celebration of the Live Oak 2018 will be held near the main lobby of Carteret Health Care. This non-juried show will open to the public on Thursday evening, March 22, 2018 at 5:30pm (public reception and awards) and end on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 5:00pm. Awards are one $1,000 Best-in-Show, four $200 Best-in-Category and four $50 Merit awards. The competition is in conjunction with the Arts Council to preserve this magnificent wood and preserve the oak trees for years to come. Details at carteretfoundation.com.
