Carteret Health Care Joins Call to Improve Heart Care

Approximately 6 million Americans live with heart failure (HF), which ranks among the costliest health conditions to treat and takes a tremendous toll on patients’ quality of life and longevity, according to the American Heart Association, the world’s leading voluntary health organization devoted to a world of longer, healthier lives for all.

To tackle this growing problem, Carteret Health Care joined more than two dozen health
care systems across the country in the American Heart Association’s IMPLEMENT-HF™ initiative, launched in 2020.

In addition to participating in American Heart Associations initiative, Carteret Health Care has also earned certification as Gold Plus and Target Honor Roll Award for Heart Failure and Target Honor Roll for Type 2 Diabetes by American Heart Association as recognized in the US News and World Report.
