About Kelcie

Kelcie obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University in 2021. As an RN, Kelcie was an inpatient nurse in the areas of renal/vascular nursing, and womens’ health, including management and care of routine and high-risk obstetric patients, as well as newborn and special risk newborn care. As a provider, Kelcie has worked as an integrative/orthopedic medicine provider, including providing intra-articular injections, diabetic management, and wound care, and spent her clinical preceptorship serving at a rural health primary and urgent care clinic for the underinsured/uninsured. Kelcie enjoys developing trusting and open relationships with her patients and helping them reach their individualized health goals with collaborative practice. She resides in Morehead City with her two pugs, Bella and Buddha, and enjoys reading, cooking, traveling, true crime documentaries, and spending quality time with her boyfriend, family, and friends. Her goal is to help each patient form a realistic and attainable stepwise plan toward reaching their health goals and have a better quality of life. She also has a passion for helping the underserved and those who have experienced healthcare disparities.
